Return & Refund Policy

At Velvette, customer satisfaction is our priority. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, we're here to help. This Return & Refund Policy applies to all men's and women's clothing, footwear, and accessories purchased from Velvette.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition.
  • Have all original tags and packaging intact.
  • Not be damaged, stained, altered, or worn.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Innerwear and lingerie.
  • Earrings and other hygiene-sensitive accessories.
  • Personalised or custom-made products.
  • Gift cards.
  • Clearance or final sale items.

Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:

  • Your order number.
  • Clear photos of the product.
  • Photos of the package (if damaged).

After verification, we will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund.

 

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the status of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
  • Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be made via bank transfer or UPI after your bank details are verified.

Exchanges

We offer exchanges for eligible items due to the following:

  • Wrong size received.
  • Defective or damaged product.
  • Incorrect item delivered.

Exchange requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be cancelled only before they are shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Return Shipping

  • If the return is due to our mistake (wrong, damaged, or defective item), we will cover the return shipping cost.
  • For returns due to a change of mind or incorrect size selected by the customer, return shipping charges may apply.
